12/14 Pictures (Finally!)

I'm slow and lazy, but I have finally gotten the pictures to upload from our end-of-semester party at Johnny O's. Without further ado (click on pictures for full-size image):

Toby, Melissa and Eric are mesmerized with Ms. PacMan.

Don and Rebecca duke it out in foosball while Vijit and Girish look on.

Rebecca takes on Amit and Alicia by herself with encouragment from Erika.

Eric, Derek and Toby LOVE GoldenTee!

But not as much as Andy does!

Eric tried to cheat by kicking the power cord several times once he fell behind.

Jen and Melissa hitting on the statue dude.

Lucas, Jen and Melissa LOVE statue dude.

Ride 'em cowboy!

Stay tuned...another party is in the works the weekend before the semester starts to celebrate our 5-week vacation. Somewhere in the January 18-21 area.

War GB!

A brief wrap-up on last night's festivities: apparently we couldn't not go out on a Thursday night, even with no class scheduled. Joe, what happened to the Vikes? Perhaps you should get a real QB, or at least stop wearing purple.

Everyone have an awesome break! Think of Andy and I while you're watching the Badgers in the Capital One Bowl. We'll be there - go Bucky!

Slackers-ViQueens Tonight

Good Thursday all....
A few of us will be meeting at Pooley's (on the east side) tonight around 6pm to take in a viewing of a game of football. Well, if that is what you want to call it. It is the Packers versus the Vikings, only on the NFL Network.
It will be crowded, so that is why we are getting there at 6pm.

Come join us for a few beers and football.....two teams that have an 8% and 11% chance of getting into the playoffs square off to be the best of the worst.

Free Money!!

I know you all wanted to keep your financial accounting books forever to cherish your memories of amortization tables, statements of cash flow and Pam Murphy, but you should know the bookstore is giving $50.50 for that book. Think of how many drinks that is next semester at Johnny O's!

MBA Blog Intro

My first blog post EVER! This MBA experience is really broadening my horizons and it's only the 1st semester. I'm excited about the diversity and depth of our class and believe it will greatly contribute to what I take away from the program in a way that textbooks never could.

Toby - Thanks for being the organizer.

Andy - I'm looking forward to "The Newsletter"!

Have a wonderful holiday season and see you in January (or possibly sooner).

Thanks!

Very cool. Thanks for putting this together Toby!

Welcome to the Class of 2009 EvMBA Blog Site

HELLLLLLO CLASS OF 2009!!!

I have put together this blogsite for all of us to have a place to go and rant, whine, talk, whatever and to track our progress through the MBA program.
You should be seeing some emails coming from me (or google or blogger) about inviting you to be part of a list and to inform you that you are an author of this site. Therefore, we should all be able to post at our own discretion. That includes pictures of outings, class questions, anything at all.

FIRST OFF - RULES OF POSTING:
1) Keep others in mind when posting (many readers, possibility of offending someone, so please be careful)
2) No advertisements
3) Have fun!!!

Have a great holiday and I will see you next semester.
